Sweet Potato Weevil

This is super closeup of the weevil eating my sweet potato in the garden. It looks kinda cute isn't it with its long body and funny head.

Did you know that sweet potatoes, known as kumera , are originally a native of South America and ar source of starrch staple in the Pacific Islands. It is high vitamin C content. They are so easy to grow. When you bought the sweet potatoes from the shops, if you leave them in a bag for a few weeks, the shoots would start to come out. You could just cut out a tiny bit of the sweet potato where the shoots come out and plant them. I have successfully grown them this way, although have not been producing much. I mainly grow them in the pot.
